Costa Brava
The Costa Brava is Catalonia's rugged northern coastline — a stretch of rocky coves, pine-covered headlands and medieval fishing villages from Blanes to the French border. Less developed than Spain's southern coasts, it has a distinctly Catalan character and a growing number of intimate boutique hotels and design guesthouses in towns like Begur, Cadaqués and Palafrugell.
